72 Hours in Philadelphia: Eastern State Penitentiary
I visited Eastern State Penitentiary during a recent trip to Philadelphia. The prison is an eerily impressive structure of preserved ruins, a bare, cold stone structure built in a radial structure around a center point.
Opened in 1829, the building in northern Philly was abandoned in 1971. After almost 150 years of use, the prison now welcomes visitors, tourists and special groups. Some of the cell blocks are currently closed, but you can still walk through many of them to get a glimpse into the life of a convict in solitary confinement.

My Favorite Photos From the 2016 New York Red Bulls Season
It's been a big week in Major League Soccer and for the New York Red Bulls with the unveiling of the new 2017 match ball, the release of the schedule and, today, the MLS SuperDraft.
The Red Bulls open on the road in Atlanta on Sunday, March 5 before returning back to Red Bull Arena for their home opener against Colorado on Saturday, March 11.
Key home games include welcoming New England on Saturday, May 27, DC United on Saturday, April 15 and Wednesday, Sept. 27, and NYCFC on Saturday, June 24 and Friday, Aug. 25.
